I had a pretty successfull (for me) practice event at a 1000yds range today with my 308W R700P.
I had 50rds of SMK168 @2650fps and 10rds of SMK169 @2800fps with me. 78F, sunny and humid. Wind about 5-7mph from 1330HRS.
I was the only one there. Steel plates at every 100yds from 100 to 1000yds. All plates were clean, painted when I started.
I overestimated the wind and was missing right initially. I had to come back to 300yds and work my way up to 1000.
Interestingly, the SMK168 did just as well (or bad) at 1000 as did the faster SMK169. Forums suggest the SMK168 tumbles after 800yds.
I have a lot of pictures and some video in the google album below if interested.
The steel at 1000yds is 36" or about 3.5 MOA.
