Hi,
some guy on snipershide forum claims that the lastest version of this rifle has a 1/11" barrel twist instead of the 1/12 .
It was because the 1/12 couldn't stabilise the 250grs bullet after 1200m.
They claims that they have mesured this on their TRG, and that Sako US represent tell them.
What do you think about this ?

Do you have ever mesured the rate of twist of your barrel ?
Kyllä toimii hyvin 0.338 lapua mag 11"tw nousu hyvin,jos latausta reilusti niin vielä 300gr sierra toimii ok.Ruuti N170 5.0-5.50,tietenkään tämä ei ole latausohje,vaan näkemys omasta aikoinaan ollesta 0.338 Lapua Mag aseesta.Aseet ovat yksilöitä piippujen tiukkuuden suhteen ja siten toisen antimiin latauksiin ei kannnata luottaa.Lataukset aloitettava varoaen,max -15% alempaa.Potkii vaan ikävästi Sillä 300 gr Sierralla Lapua mag.

Nope.
My -42 is from first production year.
So if both twists exist, then mine must be 12".

He explains that a barrel with 11" twist stabilizes the 250 and even a 300-grain bullet. This does not however answer your question. You should contact SAKO and ask them, if you want to know for sure.

No dealer or any other I know here in Finland knows about the 11 inch matter. The 250 grainers stabilize easily to distances You have mentioned.
